As I intimated in our article on the “Olive Concord” , Jordan Brand is notorious for unnecessarily teasing with doorways tantilizingly close to sough after colourwayts that likely have not had a retail run in several years and are grossly overdue for one.
Such is the the case with the Air Jordan 9 below. With its whitw leather upper overlaid with grey and fire red accenting , it is quite visually reminiscent of a shoe we here at sneakershotalk have been clamoring to return, 2002’s “French Blue” 9. The primary distinguishing feature between the two sneakers is one hue swapped of the other.
While we have no issue calling this out for what it is: a hype-driving cash grab designed to push the server even higher whenever the “French Blue” is finally removed from cold storage., we m must say this is actually a pretty good looking shoe.
This Air Jordan 9 ( not the “French Blue”) )is schuled to debut November 5, 2022 at nike.com and selct retail venues. They will carry a 200 USD sticker price.
